ISTAR launches a payload for the Italian Space Agency ( ASI) that carries the SHARAD (SHAllow RADar) across the Greenland Ice Sheet for calibration testing.
ISTAR trains Zero 2 Infinity (OIIOO) of Barcelona, Spain in launch operations. This was the second of two launches attempted during this period.
In 2012 ISTAR was first contracted to train Z2I personnel on how to launch a stratospheric balloon. 2 launch attempts were
done from Cordoba plus a tethered launch of a small balloon. The next launch was done in 2014 from Cordoba, Spain.
